Susan Crimmins, LICSW
Clinical Social Worker | Therapist | Behavioral Health Advocate
I'm a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and life transitions. My practice is rooted in authenticity, respect, and a deep belief in meeting people exactly where they are.
I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation between human beings - not a clinical transaction. My work is guided by a strong ethical compass, shaped by decades in hospitals, community mental health, and direct care. But at the core, I'm someone who listens with heart, speaks with honesty, and holds space without judgment.
I work with adults, adolescents, families, and couples facing issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, family conflict, and burnout. My style is relational and collaborative, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, tailored to each person's unique needs and pace. I honor each client's story and believe healing happens in the presence of trust, safety, and connection.
I'm committed to dismantling stigma in behavioral health and to practicing with humility, transparency, and compassion.
