Dr Schembri is a licensed psychologist with over 50 years experience treating children and families. His philosophy is to meet the person where they are in life and to strive to provide a safe space in which to examine feelings and thoughts that impair the self-fulfillment that everyone desires and deserves. He brings hope to all his patients. For every problem there is a solution.

He has set up and developed several Licensed clinics and received two Joint Commission Accreditation Awards for his work doing this. He developed Norwood Behavioral Health along with 8 pediatricians as an integrated primary care group and served as clinic director. He recruited two child psychiatrists, one from Children's Hospital and one from Johns Hopkins Medical Center.

He is married for 53 years to his wife, Beatrice and enjoys jazz piano, travel, cinema, and murder mysteries such as Agatha Christie.
