Katelyn Emma has ten years of experience treating children, adolescents and their families. She has worked with youth and parents with a range of concerns including mood disruptions and risk behaviors, social skills, substance use and general family conflict. She believes in the collaborative process of therapy and aims to meet each individual in their unique stage and support them in their journey towards social and emotional wellness. Utilizing a client-centered approach, she incorporates the strengths of each individual while providing encouraging and productive feedback. She has experience with cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused family therapy, play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and parent coaching. She has also worked with a significant number of individuals who have encountered traumatic incidences in their lives and works to promote resiliency for moving forward. Available during the week, she can also provide evening and weekend hours as needed.
